For the Offering Plate

There are many Biblical references to God's people gathering for worship and for giving of their tithes and offerings. First, it was an alter of worship outside the family tents or up in the mountains. This was followed by the tabernacle, then the temple, and now the fellowship of believers. The congregation is the place where gifts are brought to God and then distributed.

Mennonite Church USA believes giving is an act of worship. and we encourage you to participate in your local congregational worship service by using one of the options below:

1. If your congregation provides offering envelopes, place an empty envelope in the offering basket when it is passed down your bench. Write on the envelope that you have given by credit card through the online site.
