General Fund at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community (Harrisonburg, VA)

The Good Samaritan Annual Fund is VMRC's commitment to provide health care to residents with limited or no financial resources. It covers the difference between Medicaid reimbursements and the cost of providing health care to our most needy residents in skilled and assisted living homes. For fiscal year 2010, Compassion Fund represents a commitment of $1.5 million for 55 residents in skilled nursing and assisted living centers, approximately $60 per day per resident.
